WebAug 17, 2015 · Like the title says what clutches for a 48RE and why? Clutches and converter are all that's left to buy. All the billet parts are on the shelf or in the mail. I was thinking on Red Eagle, but my transmission shop buddy said he did not like them as ever set he has ever seen have been burnt early and he prefers Borg Warner high energy. WebAug 16, 2024 · Power is slightly above factory (actually in a MD behind a DT466). I wouldn't recommend this for a hot street truck, simply because better stuff is available. Not that you can't get it to hold, but all the G3 packs can be bought for a few hundred more. The G3's will take more power than the GPZ's and live.
